Data Management Consultant

Position Overview

  • The Data Management Consultant position reports to the Vice President of Professional Services. He/she will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing the data management and integration components of River Logic software solutions in support of Partners and Customers, and for capturing and sharing best practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully configuring and implementing databases, ETL and integration. This position is located in the Dallas, Boston or Seattle areas.
    Primary Responsibilities
  • Design data structure, data flow and integration in support of configuring SaaS and on-premise applications for clients and partners/partners’ clients
  • Capture and disseminate best practices in data management
  • Support client and partner proof of concept exercises
  • Support evolution of River Logic product demonstrations – especially integration components
  • Feed product enhancement ideas back to product management and the development organization

Required Skills & Experience

  • Skilled in relational and OLAP data structures, data transformation and system data flow design
  • Strong ability to deliver on client specific needs while also thinking big picture, reusability and modularity
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS and writing stored procedures
  • Microsoft SSAS and Azure experience a plus
  • Formal training in formal programming a plus
  • SAP integration experience a strong plus
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in integration and data structures

Compensation

  • The compensation for this position will be market based and incentive/merit based driven.

Director, Professional Services

Position Overview

  • The Director of Professional Services position reports to the Vice President of Professional Services. He/she will be responsible for helping clients and partners conceptualize and implement solutions, and for capturing and sharing best practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading implementation projects for complex applications in supply chain analytics. This position is located in the Dallas, Boston or Seattle areas.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure success of direct and partner led projects, from discovery to pilots and implementations through skillful project management and support
  • Mature and build our delivery team, including development of internal and partner best practices, processes and training
  • Guide partners in entire project lifecycle from presales support through proposal development, project planning, project management and delivery
  • Manage River Logic resources to assist in partner delivery activities
  • Collaborate with River Logic product and go to market teams to ensure successful implementations and transition to on-going support
  • Feed insights back to River Logic’s product management, customer success, marketing and sales organizations

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to manage and lead all aspects of implementations that include planning, prescriptive analytics and performance management
  • Strong background in financial and operational consulting
  • Successful track record managing/leading projects as a consultant, ideally implementing planning and scheduling applications
  • Understanding of linear programming, simulation and heuristics a plus
  • Excellent client management and communication skills
  • Undergraduate in engineering and MBA degrees a strong plus
  • PMP certification a plus

      • Work with cl ients and partners/partners’ clients across multiple industries to configure River Logic SaaS product during imple mentation
      • Support proof of concept and demonstration development initiatives as – needed
      • Capture, create and disseminate best practices within the area of expertise
      • Feed insights and designs back to the River Logic produ ct management and development team s to continuously improve our product

Required Skills & Experience

      • Strong ability to design input and output, charts and graphs for variou s industries and to client need

Managing Director - Consulting Partnerships

Position Overview

      • The Managing Director – Consulting Partners position reports to the President. He/she will be responsible for creating and growing high level relationships and partner revenue streams with channel partners to include global consulting firms and system integrators. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing strategic partnerships with service providers and growing channel revenues as part of smaller analytics or planning software organizations.

Primary Responsibilities

      • Originate new partnerships with global service providers, from lead development through close
      • Manage the process and collaborate with River Logic sales and marketing teams to grow partnerships, including new industries and geographies
      • Establish best practice approaches to partner recruiting, on-boarding and account management
      • Provide feedback and help structure forward thinking Partner Agreements that encourage and facilitate partner success
      • Drive profitable revenue and coordinated deal by deal sales efforts, with and through the strategic partner’s existing sales and marketing channels; maximize River Logic participation in Partner demand generation initiatives (i.e. webinars, breakfast seminars, industry events)
      • Support and leverage events, product launches as well as certifications and specializations
      • Perform business metrics reviews and analysis of each Channel Partner’s performance on a frequent basis
      • Travel when necessary to partner events to represent River Logic, and or present our solutions to both partners and end customers of partners
      • Meet/Exceed Partner Sales Bookings/Revenue Goals

Required Skills & Experience

      • Proven record of developing successful relationships with service providers (e.g. management consultants, advisory firms, system integrators) on behalf of prescriptive analytics/planning software providers with the objective of building vertical offerings/applications/solutions
      • Proven record in solution-selling planning, ERP or prescriptive analytics tools to mid-size and larger firms, ideally in collaboration with partners
      • Prior experience working in a service provider, including strong understanding of service provider economics and how to build a new practice/business
      • Understanding of planning and scheduling approaches and technologies
      • Working knowledge of micro-economics, managerial accounting and constraint-based modeling
      • Historic or current experience with one or more of the following companies a plus: Dassault (Quintiq), ProModel, Schneider Electric (Spiral), IBM (Ilog), Aspen Tech, AIMMS, Anaplan, Kinaxis, FICO (Xpress), JDA (I2 Technologies)
      • Master’s degree in Business Administration (or similar) a plus
      • Excellent communication skills – written and spoken
      • Good negotiation skills

First 100 Days:

      • The Managing Director – Consulting Partnerships will be expected to achieve the following within the first 100 days after hire:
      • Attain strong command of River Logic technology, value proposition and differentiation
      • Identify and initiate contact with potential Center of Excellence (COE) leads at 5 global consulting firms
      • Advance at least one conversation to the point of collaboration around a potential application and 2-3 identified customer targets through a joint plan with the partner
      • Establish an initial process for developing and managing global consulting firms
      • Develop a target account plan and best practices

Administrative Assistant / Office Manager

Primary Responsibilities

      • Assist in the completion of expense reports for senior employees and manage the expense reporting process for the company, including review for policy compliance and appropriate documentation, feedback to employees and timely submission to Accounting.
      • Prepare and make bank deposits as needed and provide appropriate documentation to Accounting.
      • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and select travel arrangements, as well as special events for the company. Coordinate with contracted outside Travel Agent as needed.
      • Assume responsibility for maintenance of office and office equipment – and management of applicable vendors – for computers, copy machine, phone system, web/teleconferencing service, door entry security system, etc.
      • Maintain office supplies by checking inventory, ordering items and managing applicable contracts.
      • Maintain and secure company files – both electronic and hard copy.
      • Provide notary services as required (company will assist with notary certification if not already certified).
      • Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties.
      • Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing, and copying.
      • Record minutes at various meetings as requested and archive accordingly.
      • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence. Manage regular outgoing packages to various satellite offices.
      • Complete Special Projects as assigned from various departments including Sales, Marketing, Finance etc.

Required Skills & Experience

      • Bachelor Degree
      • 2+ years of hands-on administrative support experience
      • Proficiency in MS Office suite, with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
      • Extremely organized. Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
      • Strong business communication skills, both verbal and written.
      • Detail oriented with good analytical skills a must.
      • Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
