Bill currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Diplomat Pharmacy, the nation’s largest independent provider of specialty pharmacy services, and for the fifth year, is a running member of Inc. Magazine’s 500|5000 – an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. During his 30-year career in healthcare, he cofounded several hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician practice management programs and healthcare IT firms. In this time, he also built the largest private-referral ophthalmology practice in the United States (with 20 offices in 12 states).
Dr. Wallace previously served on the leadership teams of Medical Care America, at the time the nation’s largest owner and operator of outpatient surgery centers, and Perot Systems Healthcare (now Dell Healthcare). Most recently, he served as part of the health plans group ($44B of their $68B in annual revenue) at Medco Health Solutions, where he was responsible for sales, strategic accounts and new business development.
Additionally, Bill serves on the boards of several companies, including Power2Practice, a provider of office management and EMR software to specialty physicians practices, Goodwin Benefit Advisors, an agency providing health insurance solutions to small and middle market employers, and River Logic, a provider of advanced enterprise planning and optimization software to the Global 1000.
