Leslie Starr Keating

Board Director

Leslie Starr Keating is Senior Vice President Supply Chain for Frito-Lay North America, the $14 billion convenient foods business unit of PepsiCo. She is responsible for Frito-Lay’s Supply Chain, which includes operations in the United States and Canada.

In this role, Ms. Keating is accountable for all aspects of Frito-Lay’s supply chain including, manufacturing, warehousing and transportation. She oversees a $6B cost base with 37 plants, 160 warehouse locations and an organization of 22,000 associates that each week make and move Frito-Lay’s iconic brands. 

Ms. Keating assumed this role in February 2008.  During her tenure, Frito-Lay North America has doubled its productivity over historical levels and has built and is executing a go to market transformation strategy to further advantage Frito-Lay for the next decade. From 2004 to 2008, while serving as vice president of commercialization and supply chain she oversaw the integration and transformational agendas while continuing to lead the Service and Distribution functions.  Ms. Keating was vice president of logistics and warehousing for Frito-Lay from 2001 to 2004.  Additionally, Ms. Keating served as vice president of operations for the North Division for Frito-Lay from 1998 to 2001. Over Ms. Keating’s 30-year career at PepsiCo, she has been a mentor and sponsor of Diversity and Inclusion and was recognized by PepsiCo with the Harvey C. Russell Inclusion Award for her inclusion leadership. 

Ms. Keating joined PepsiCo in 1985. Before joining PepsiCo, Leslie held leadership positions with Procter and Gamble.

Ms. Keating has been recognized among industry trade publications and organizations. In 2011, Women’s Enterprise magazine recognized Ms. Keating for her manufacturing innovation and leadership.  One year earlier, the Texas Business Women named her the Collin County Professional Women of the year.

Ms. Keating currently serves on the Board of Directors for Make a Wish North Texas since 2013.   Ms. Keating is also active with the Young Men’s Service League community service organization.

Ms. Keating graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.  She also holds an Executive MBA degree from Georgia State University.
